From the Guardians Series, Two figures were placed in a month long installation at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts (Burnaby, BC). Created from eco-friendly materials, the work creates a system of symbiotic relationships. mushrooms, mosses, and lime/gypsum work to both provide nutrients and hold in moisture. It’s presence blends in seamlessly with the Deer Lake Parks landscape to create a sense of belonging, and growth.
